The elliptical segments of the red construction find their counterparts in two dimensional space to the rear of the building. The angle the two make with each other, lays down the direction of the oblique rows of Italian Poplar screens which would form a pattern of lines across the paved areas. These rows were indeed installed but in the course of time the direction of the school gave in to student demands to take them out.
